Fossi Wolf Cross Bronze
Thor’s Hammer known as the Wolf Cross was found in Iceland, Fosi 10-11 century AD. The original is exhibited in the National Museum of Iceland in Reykjavik
It could be interpreted both as a Christian cross and as Thor’s Hammer.
In Norse mythology, Mjölnir is the hammer of Thor, a major Norse god associated with thunder. Mjölnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most fearsome and powerful weapons in existence, capable of levelling mountains. The hammer was made by the dwarven brothers Eitri and Brokkr.
