The fibula is based on the findings from Uppland, Sweden. It’s the perfect brooch for a woollen cloak or any other clothes for reenactment and everyday wear. A fibula is used for fastening garments, typically at the right shoulder.

This design of the fibula is pretty simple and popular in the Viking Age
